No matter how youthful you feel, your face may tell a different story. Sun damage, natural aging, and lifestyle factors can diminish the collagen layer that supports the skin showing wrinkles and lines. There is a vast array of injectable fillers on the market worldwide. From bovine collagen to hyaluronic acid, you can smooth away those telltale lines and wrinkles or add definition to the lips with only a short office visit.  Today’s products are fully biocompatible and therefore do not require any pretesting so you can see the results immediately.

Injectable fillers vary in cost. Some are more appropriate than others for certain conditions. Costs also vary from patient to patient as it is a customized procedure based on your specific needs. After an examination, Dr. Ali will help you decide which fillers are best suited for your individual situation.

Pre-Treatment

Avoid taking Aspirin, Advil, Ibuprofen or any other anti-inflammatory medications 48 hours before your appointment.

Day of Treatment

• An ultrafine needle is used to inject the product under the skin, resulting in minimal discomfort. The area may be anesthetized before your procedure upon request.  

• The procedure can last anywhere from 15 min-45 min depending on the desired results.

• Results are instantaneous and you may resume normal activity immediately.

After Care

• Ice will be placed on the area to help minimize swelling.

• You may be asked to massage the area.

• Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). The most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration. As with all skin injection procedures there is a risk of infection.
