Fat Transfer
Fat Transfer refers to the process of taking fat from one area of your body and injecting it into another. This procedure is a long-lasting structural filler, using your own body fat to reshape and refresh your appearance.

Q. Where does the fat come from?
A. Fat transfer is a wonderful, safe and non invasive method of restoring volume by transferring fat from an area that has an abundance of fat into an area that has lost fat volume, in order to fill the fat deficit and restore a youthful contour.

Q. Where do I go to get the fat removed?
A. The fat is removed manually here in our office using a sterile syringe and light suction to avoid damage of the fat cell. You will be given local anesthesia to minimize any discomfort while Dr. Ali is removing your donor fat. The fat will be cleaned and prepared for re-injection to your desired site.
Q. What is treatment like?
A. Dr. Ali will ease under your skin to instantly smooth out your wrinkles or folds and to add fullness and volume to your desired area. Topical or local anesthesia may be applied if necessary to minimize any discomfort.
Q. Is there any scarring or stitching?
A. No stitches are required. There may be a minimal amount of bruising or swelling, but generally, patients may return to work the following day. A pressure bandage is applied to the donor site and sometimes to the recipient site to prevent blood clots and swelling.
