HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
You can expect to see results as treatments progress. The number of treatment sessions typically depends on the area being treated and the person’s skin. A minimum of 6 treatments is usually recommended for the face, and 8 for other parts of the body; however, it is not uncommon for patients to see continuing improvement in their skin for up to 3 months after the series of treatments is completed.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT BEFORE AND AFTER VENUS TREATMENTS?
Many patients compare their experience to a relaxing hot stone massage. At the beginning of the treatment, a gel will be applied to the skin to help the applicator glide more easily, making the treatment comfortable. As you relax, the applicator glides over the area being treated, painlessly emitting a combination of Multi-Polar Radiofrequency and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields, which produce a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the treated areas that begins to repair and rejuvenate damaged skin. During Venus Legacy™ treatments, along with the gradual heating sensation, you will also feel a comfortable pulsating suction. The average procedure usually takes 30 - 40 minutes to complete depending on the size of the treatment area.
Immediately after the treatment, you’re likely to feel very comfortable and relaxed with no pain or irritation. The only noticeable signs that you’ve just undergone an advanced cosmetic procedure will be a slight flushing to your skin and a warm sensation, which will quickly begin to fade following treatment. You’ll be able to return home or go back to work straight after the treatment has finished, without any symptoms or side effects.
